Kraków’s very own Back-to-School week and a big welcome to all our new people!
Traditionally it is held during the first week of school in October. It usually contains an Info-day/booksale, the unknowable escapades and ritual tests of the Baptism for the new freshmen, several parties and a sportsday. Buy next years books. Get to know Kraków. And get to know each other.
Back in the day, someone thought: Short-film festival? Hell yeah!
And so began Krakóws most glamourous evening. An evening of beautiful people, hot dresses, champagne glasses, sharp suits, red carpets, home-made films of all categories and a dark, star-filled night crowned by the award ceremony where the years’ prestigious statuettes are handed out to the best productions.
17th of May
Norway’s national day is celebrated in style from early morning to late night. We start out with individual brunches, meet up to salute our King and the Royal Family on Rynek and then walk in a traditional ”søttende-mai tog” to Wisla for a relaxing cruise before ending the night at the castle outside the city, to the clink of fluted glasses and blam of fireworks.

Feel free to suggest or help start up new events. The sky is the limit! As an example to inspire you; Sebastian Orskaug and Johan Hjort built their own ambulance and drove it through the Budapest-Bamako rally to a hospital in Mali in 2010....
